Baby Andrew

Hi everyone,

Just a quick post today - I have a week's worth of bills and other household bookkeeping to catch up on. It's amazing how things pile up when you take a few days "off."

We had our baby last Friday, December 11th. His name is Andrew Warren Eugster weighing in at 8 lbs. 13 oz. and 21 1/2 in. long. His is doing well, likes to sleep a lot, and his brothers love him. Just hoping they don't injure him with all their "love."

Merry Christmas everyone!! More pictures to follow soon.

Fall events

I really am better at updating Facebook than the blog (last post in July, where does the time go....).

Anyway, everything is cruising along here - I look and feel like a beached whale, the boys are busy with school and cub scouts and things, and Ryan is hunting or reading for grad school - typical fall stuff.

Adam turned 6 on Halloween. We had a little party for him. I did get him on video saying "you're the best mom ever." I wonder if he'll feel the same way in 10 years.......

I guess I better get back to laundry and dinner - some things just don't take care of themselves.

Pink or blue..........

Well, according to today's ultrasound we are expecting another healthy boy around Christmas time. The boys are very happy, since they've been praying for a boy since we told them that we were going to have another baby. However, after having Aaron's boys and my boys for a couple days, I'm thinking I may need to find alternate living quarters if I'm ever going to have peace and quiet!!

Anyway, here are a few pics from our recent vacation to Wisconsin. The boys had a blast.

Sean in green.....

Ethan is less than excited to be in the boat without mom....

Adam looking for trouble...

You would think that an 8-year-old would have better ice cream ettiquette...

Updates, updates, and more updates.....

Well, I've been out of school for almost a month now and I've finally gotten around to posting on this blog again. Since my last post......

I found out I'm pregnant (again....hopefully I'll stop having mini-panic attacks when I think about chasing after four children by the time this one arrives in December)......

I graduate from Michigan State with my Masters in Nursing (now I'm just waiting to take my certification exam so that I can practice as a nurse practitioner).......

Sean turned eight, made his First Communion and Confirmation, has lost several of his front teeth, and is finishing up the second grade.....

Adam is getting ready for kindergarten graduation and and being his usual "Adam-bomb" self....

And Ethan is getting ready to move from what we thought were the "Terrible Two's" into what truly will be the "Terrible Two's"......

And now it's time for T-Ball and swimming lessons and all the other fun stuff that comes with summer. At least I have one more week of peace before the boys (and my husband) are home for the summer. I'll leave you with a short video that perfectly depicts life at our house, only to be topped by the videos to come when there are four monkeys running around.......

Developmental Milestones

I know I've been studying too much when I see my son doing this and this first thought that runs through my head is "my son is a genius because he can stack way more than 3 blocks at a time (an 18 month old is expected to stack only 2-3 blocks according to the American Academy of Pediatrics)." Oh my poor floor!! I just can't take my eyes of him for a second.

Back to school

Sorry everyone, no pictures this time (I'm at work!!).

Since I received a few Christmas cards encouraging me to sign up for Facebook, I did. I'm really not sure how I'll ever keep two sites updated, but I'll give it a try.

Anyway, tomorrow is back to school - 20 hours of clinical every week plus work. It will be busy, but worth it in the end. Graduation is in site, May 8th at 7:00pm at the Breslin Center!!

Hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas - it was great to see and hear from everyone again.

Ethan and the camera

Ethan was being so cute with the Fisher-Price camera the other day, I just had to share with everyone. If you listen closely, you will hear him saying "cheese."
